Locomotive Air Brake Inspection

When the user selects the Locomotive Air Brake Inspection link, the Car Grade Inspection page is displayed (Exhibit 159).

1. Complete the first five fields as described in Steps 1 and 2.

2. Select the calculator icon ( $Description: U:\Technical Writer\Umler\Graphics\Icons\calculator_icon.gif$ ) to calculate the Scheduled and Inspection Due dates (368 days for annual, 92 days for quarterly, 60 days for cab signals, 736 day for RCL. Air brake varies by air brake models and air driers).

3. Use the calendar picker ( $Description: U:\Technical Writer\EMIS\Graphics\Icons\iconCalendar.gif$ ) to select the date the next locomotive inspection is scheduled.

4. (As needed for same entries) Use the down arrow icon ( $Description: U:\DDCT\images\custom\arrow_down.gif$ ) to repeat the entry for all successive fields.

5. When all fields are entered, select one of the options from Exhibit 155.
